Estelle Berger, Designer & Design Researcher PhD
Experience Design / Action Research / Active Teaching / Experiments

First trained as a Product Designer, I obtained in 2014 a PhD in Applied Arts for research on the Reflective Practice of Design. In an Action Research approach, I investigate the singularity of designers and their roles in organizations and society. My research is sustained by Ethics, understood as constant introspection and assessment of action in the professional force field. As a Design Researcher, my purpose is to create insightful connections and tools to support meaningful practice.

As an Associate Professor at Strate School of Design (Paris), I am in charge of Mastere Innovation x Design, a cross-disciplinary educational program with an emphasis on the desirable and sustainable dimensions of innovation.

I lead Exalt Design Lab, a joint laboratory dedicated to the value of Design and Experience for organizations. It gathers 7 industrial and 3 academic partners, with 6 PhD candidates.
